TSCPA has partnered with the Center for Corporate Financial Leadership (CCFL) to meet the needs of finance professionals by providing high-quality executive education, knowledge resources, and networking communities.

CCFL is your one-stop shop for information and resources that are strategically focused on the daily issues you face. CCFL serves the needs and interests of professionals from a wide spectrum of industries and diverse areas of expertise.

The Accountants Confidential Assistance Network is a statutory peer assistance program specifically dedicated to helping Texas CPAs, CPA candidates and accounting students. ACAN was previously known as the Concerned CPA Network.

ACAN is for ACCOUNTANTS
If you might be one of the more than 10,000 Texas CPAs who have a problem with alcohol, substance abuse, depression, stress or other mental health issues, ACAN was created just for you.

ACAN provides ASSISTANCE
There is help! It’s not too late to live the good life you deserve. We’re glad to assist CPAs, CPA candidates and students who want to know whether they might have a problem and talk about solutions.

We’ll help you locate the professional resources you need to improve your life. We’re also available to participate in professional interventions at the request of a firm or family member.

ACAN is a NETWORK of CPAs
There is hope! You are not alone. The CPA volunteers in ACAN understand the pressures of the accounting profession. Most are successful CPAs that once faced problems so great they became desperate to find a solution. The difference between a life lived to its fullest and a life destroyed is that each of them found a solution, and they want to share it with you.

Call the ACAN 24-Hour Hotline
1-866-766-ACAN
There’s no risk!
By law, all information, communications, reports received, gathered or maintained by ACAN are strictly confidential.

Money Management U.

New Financial Literacy Resources for the Workplace

Having a job may give you a paycheck, but it doesn’t necessarily mean you know what to do with the money you earn. Thanks to Money Management U., an employee enrichment program, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants is offering free financial literacy resources for the workplace.

Whether you’re the company president or a human resources or communications professional, bring these free personal finance resources into your office and share them with your employees.

Since the No. 1 cause of stress in the workplace is personal finance (USA Today) and poll results indicate nearly 30 percent of Texas employees spend six or more hours each week at work worried about or dealing with personal finances, how can you afford not to take advantage of Money Management U.?

Read more workplace financial literacy statistics.

Like a physical wellness program, this informative personal finance program can strengthen your employees’ fiscal health and empower them to better manage their money.
